Christmas LectureIET Manchester Network Dec 2015

Professor Danielle George

Date: Wednesday 2 December 2015, 6:15pm refreshments for 7pm

Professor Danielle George presented the Royal Institution 2014 Christmas Lecture on BBC4. She now asks you to join her as she explains how a revolution is happening. Across the world people are taking control of the devices we use every day customizing them, creating new things and using the sparks of their imagination to change the world.

Now its your turn, and you can start with the things you have around you.

Inspired by the great inventors and standing on the shoulders of people playing at their kitchen table or in their shed. Danielle will show you how to use modern tools and technologies and things from around your home to have fun and make a difference to the world around you. Anything could happen. It's all engineered in your imagination.
